* SLC BEAM DYNAMICS.

Experimental and theoretical results for beam dynamics in the main linac of the Stanford Linear Collider, including results for the emittance transport and from new diagnostics tools.

Invited talk at the PAC97, Vancouver 1997. PS-file (5 pages).

* (A NEW DISPERSION AND WAKEFIELD OPTIMIZATION IN THE SLC).

Experimental and theoretical results for a dispersion-free steering algorithm in the SLC. The connection to wakefields and the benefits for SLC are discussed.

To be submitted to Phys. Review E.

* LIAR - A COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR LINEAR ACCELERATOR SIMULATIONS.

The user's guide for a new, general simulation program for linear accelerators that includes wakefields, acceleration, multiple imperfections and correction schemes.

R. Assmann et al. (7 authors). SLAC-AP 103 (1996). PS-file (70 pages, 600 kByte).

* OPERATION AND EXPECTED PERFORMANCE OF THE NLC MAIN LINACS.

Detailed simulations of the beam dynamics in the NLC main linacs. Emittance dilutions from multiple imperfections and their corrections are discussed. The expected performance is estimated.

R. Assmann and T. Raubenheimer. (Snowmass'96). PS-file (5 pages, 300 kByte).

* OPTIMIZATION OF TRANSVERSE SPIN-POLARIZATION IN THE LEP STORAGE RING AND ITS USE FOR PRECISION MEASUREMENTS OF THE Z-BOSON.

It is shown how the beam polarization in LEP was increased from 15% to 57% and how it was used for accurate measurements of the LEP beam energy. The resulting errors on the mass and the decay width of the Z-boson are discussed. Unfortunately had to be in German.

R. Assmann. Doctorate thesis at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, November 1994. Published as a report of the Max-Planck-Institut für Physik, Werner-Heisenberg-Institut, MPI-PhE-95-20, August 1995. PS-file (110 pages, 2 MByte).

* ACCURATE DETERMINATION OF THE LEP BEAM ENERGY BY RESONANT DEPOLARIZATION.

It is shown how the absolute beam energy in LEP was determined with an relative accuracy of 2 10-5.

L. Arnaudon, et al. (13 authors), CERN SL/94-71. Published in Zeitschrift für Physik C66(1995)45-62.

* RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS IN TRANSVERSE SPIN-POLARIZATION AT LEP.

Achievements in transverse spin-polarization at LEP are described: 1) the optimization of the polarization degree from 15% to 57%, 2) the reduction of the polarization build-up time with wigglers, 3) energy calibrations.
